MINIONS
Minions is an old mining village on the edge of Bodmin moor. Ruins of a bygone Age surround it.
Old engine houses, quarries and stone circles, the famous Cheese ring and mine shafts. In the hamlet there is a shop/tearoom and a public house that sells real ale and serves excellent food.
There are many walks in the area for the adventurous and the not so adventurous.
Minions is within easy reach of the Eden project, Looe, Polperro and Plymouth. Minions is also a good central point for touring both West Devon and Cornwall.
Minions is the highest village in Cornwall 1.000ft above sea level. From the moor
You can see the sea and on a clear day from Caradon hill you can see Goon hilly, the satellite station on the Lizard forty-seven miles to the west.
The animals on the moor have the freedom to roam and wander anywhere they wish too so your neighbour might be a sheep a cow or even a pony!
